Jessica Alba is reportedly walked out before the end credit of premiere her new movie, "The Killer Inside Me" at the Sundance Film Festival. The movie, based on a 1952 pulp novel by Jim Thompson is claimed as "gratuitous violence" especially at women and made the audience shocked. In the film, characters played by Alba and Kate Hudson are repeatedly punched and kicked bloody by Casey Affleck's character, small-town deputy sheriff Lou Ford. In one scene, a brutal beating goes on for several minutes.
At Monday screening where the British director, Michael Winterbottom, gave an explanation about his movie, Alba did not attend. Neither Hudson nor Affleck was in Park City. "It's the not the real world. It's kind of a parallel version of the real world.... I was taken in by that world," he said. "Although there is a lot of violence in it and obviously there's a lot of violence directed toward women, there's also a lot of tenderness," he added.
