She still has a few months before her latest addition to the family is due but has given into comfort dressing completely.
The 30-year-old pregnant actress was dressed in a flowing grey jersey dress with a matching baggy cardigan.
But while many mothers would look frumpy in such an ensemble, without a waistband or nipped in seam in sight, Jessica managed to pull of looking stylish.
Alba, who is mother to two-year-old Honor and expecting her second child later this autumn, made the outfit chic with a pretty long necklace and a pair of stylish red sunglasses.
She wore swept her hair back into a on-trend top knott.
The actress was spotted out in California running errands carrying a large drink cup.

After a lengthy hiatus, the Spy Kids are back in this trailer for the series' fourth film, "Spy Kids: All the Time in the World." It promises more cool espionage gadgets, "Home Alone"-style mayhem, kung fu dogs and Jessica Alba.
Written and directed by Robert Rodriguez (the previous "Spy Kids," "Planet Terror," "Machete"), the latest film in the long-running series brings some new kids into the action.
When the maniacal Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) threatens to take over the world, retired spy Marissa (Jessica Alba) is called back into action, with a new generation of spy kids along for the ride. Her twin step kids, Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook) join in on the globe-trotting action, with a little help from the series' original Spy Kids, Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni Cortez (Daryl Sabara).
Joel McHale ("The Soup") plays Alba's clueless husband, while Ricky Gervais ("The Office" U.K.) joins franchise vets -- and frequent Rodriguez collaborators -- Danny Trejo ("From Dusk 'til Dawn") and Antonio Banderas ("Desperado").
The last film in the series, "Spy Kids 3D: Game Over" was released in 2003.
The film opens nationwide in 3D or um, 4D August 19.

Spending the holiday weekend with the family, Jessica Alba was spotted out and about in Brentwood, California with husband Cash Warren and daughter Honor Marie on Sunday (May 29).
The casually-clad trio looked relaxed as they strolled along the sidewalk, with Jessica and Cash wearing sunglasses while Honor sported a big smile on her precious face.
The Memorial Day weekend outing comes as the 30-year-old expectant mother recently revealed that she likes to stay active throughout her pregnancy, telling, "I'd like to still do something five days a week, from a half hour to an hour - nothing excessive, just some moving (around). It makes the whole pregnancy so much easier. The more fit you are, the easier the birth is, and a healthier baby you're going to have."
Alba said that she gets her pre-baby workout regimen from someone very close to her, explaining, "My grandmother was amazing. She would go home and would put on the clothes that she wore before she got pregnant with all five of her kids. It's definitely good genetics, but she also worked through all of her pregnancies. Just being on your feet and moving probably helped."

A baby sister for Honor?
Jessica Alba and hubby Cash Warren revealed that they will be having another girl.
Alba, 30 and Warren, 32, are already proud parents to their daughter Honor, who is almost 3. Now it looks like they will be expecting more pink in the house!
"They are really thrilled that Honor's going to have a sister to play with and be close to," says a source.
How does Warren feel about the news?
"[He] has been joking that he's going to be overrun by all the females in the house, but he really loves the idea."
I’m sure Honor and her baby sister will be daddy's little girls.
Alba is a busy mama already this summer, starring as a stepmother and part-time spy in Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World which will come out in theaters August 19th.
Alba will likely take a break from the big screen for at a least a year with the new baby.

Jessica Alba can't wait to have a newborn baby again.
The 'Little Fockers' actress - who is currently pregnant with her second child - is looking forward to having an infant in the family again because all they want to do is be cuddled.
She said: "They're little peanuts! They're just the best. Their smell, and the cuddling! They're so sweet."
However, before her new baby arrives Jessica is concentrating on throwing her daughter Honor a third birthday party to remember next month.
She told People magazine: "I've been planning her birthday party. She likes playing dress-up, so there's definitely going to be a playing dress-up element to it."
Jessica also revealed she's not worried about regaining her figure once she has the baby because she confident it will happen naturally because of her good genes.
She said: "My grandmother was amazing. She would go home and would put on the clothes that she wore before she got pregnant with all five of her kids. It's definitely good genetics, but she also worked through all of her pregnancies. Just being on your feet and moving probably helped."
