Early Life Born in Pomona, California, on April 28, 1981 to a Mexican father and Danish-French Canadian mom, Jessica Marie Alba grew up into one of the sexiest or prettiest women alive, according to many magazines. Jessica was raised in an Air force family, thus made her able to stay in many parts of the country. She lived with her parents Mark and Cathy Alba, brother Joshua, and grandparents until she was 16. She was a sports fan and often injured herself in accident, thus was often hospitalized for many causes from collapsed lung to tonsil-cyst. Her lifeguard mother taught her to swim from a very early age, and she also is a PADI-certified scuba diver, skills that has been proven to be useful in some of her movies, such as Into the Blue.

Early Career She began her acting debut, taking a small role as Gail in Camp Nowhere in 1994. Her two-weeks contract was prolonged into a two-month job due to a resigned co-worker. She then appeared in several independent movies and commercials, while also appeared in several TV series, such as Nickelodeon's The Secret World of Alex Mack, Flipper (where her diving skills is used), Steven Bochco's Brooklyn South, Beverly Hills 90210, The Love Boat, P.U.N.K.S, also some movies, such as Venus Rising.
Road to Fame She then became a household name after starring in Never Been Kissed and Idle Hands, (in) which she acted along bigger names like Drew Barrymore and Devon Sawa. Her existence became more prominent after James Cameron picked her as the main character in Fox's sci-fi series, Dark Angel. She beat (the other) 1,200 candidates for the cast.
Afterwards Since then, she had appeared in several noticeable movies, such as Honey, Nancy Callahan's Sin City (with Bruce Willis), Into the Blue (with Paul Walker), The Sleeping Dictionary, Fantastic Four, and the coming-up Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Other Appearances and Projects Jessica guest starred in some TV shows, such as The Tonight's Show with Jay Leno.Besides acting, she also shows multiple interests in the industry. She was a host at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards and performed sketches spoofing the movies King Kong, Mission: Impossible 3, and The Da Vinci Code. She once also posed for Playboy's cover. Her poster, which appeared in the magazine's March 2006 issue, ended up in court, due to her misused poses. The magazine used her promotional photos for Into The Blue without her consent. But the dispute was ended after Hugh Hefner, Playboy's owner apologized and agreed to donate the money raised from the selling of the magazine to two charities that she supported.

Personal Life Jessica started dating Michael Weatherly, her Dark Angel co-star, in 2001. They were engaged, but then broke up. In January 2005, she began dating Cash Warren, an assistant director of the Fantastic Four. They met at the filming of the movie. About children, she said that she always loves them and would like to have a couple someday.
